Dong quai (lat. Angelica sinensis), is a plan from family Umbelliferae, dried roots of which are used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Used for blood deficiency, dizziness, palpitations, menstrual disorders, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain caused by depletion-cold, rheumatic pains, traumatic injuries,
abscesses, intestinal dryness and constipation.
