葛根
Kudzu, also known as Chinese arrowroot (lat. Pueraria lobata) is a plant from family Leguminosae. Its dried roots are used in TCM.

Returns to the spleen, stomach and lung meridians.
Value in Traditional Chinese Medicine
Relieves muscles to expel heat, clears away rashes, promotes the production
of body fluid, stops thirst, raises the yang and stops diarrhea, invigorates the meridians and relieves alcohol poisoning. Used in treating fever caused by external pathogens, headache,
strong neck and back pain, thirst, diabetes, impenetrable measles/measles without adequate eruption, pyretic dysentery, diarrhea, vertigo and headache, stroke and paralysis, blockage in the chest and heart pain, and injuries caused by alcohol poisoning.
